The Adler a Hollywood Hotel
The location of the hotel was excellent, walking distance to the walk of fame, TCL Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Bowl (about 40 mins). Easy access to Metro and buses which are great for some locations you may want to visit, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Westfield shopping, the Original Farmers market (the Grove), Griffith park, and will cost €1.75 each per journey. Buy a tap card at Vine St station and top it up when needed. Public transport is very safe. We read reviews which were very negative towards it, but this is not true, it is absolutely fine. Uber is also very reliable if you prefer or for those journeys that are too difficult by metro or bus like Universal Studios, Warner Bros. We got an Uber to the start of the trek of the Hollywood sign for $11, and then we walked back to the hotel, which took an hour and a half, from the sign. There is a diner next door to the Hotel which is decent, we had breakfast there a couple of mornings. Eggs Benedict will cost around $18. There are a few other places we liked for breakfast, the Breakfast Club and iHop (which is a bit of a walk away) We found dining in the area not great, but maybe that’s just because we didn’t know where to look, we normally ate wherever we were visiting that day. Eating is that bit more expensive to the UK or Ireland. Staff everywhere in LA are very friendly and welcoming. The staff at the Adler Hotel were exceptional, especially one person, of whom I didn’t get his name. He was so helpful with advice and directions, and anything we needed. He even had plastic cutlery on the ready for when my daughters order their Chipotle takeout and forgot to ask for cutlery. He really did make our stay enjoyable. Everything about the hotel was great, the rooms were a bit small for the three of us as the beds took up most of the space, so not much room to walk around. The beds were super comfortable, the bathroom very big and lovely shower. We had a hairdryer and iron in the room.

Would definitely choose The Adler again and again! The hotel staff was so friendly and took the time to share not only info about the hotel itself but also tourist attraction info nearby. It was relieving to arrive and find that the hotel was not only the adorable boutique location I hoped for but also just thankful overall for the friendliness of the staff. We were first time travelers to LA and traveling with our young daughter so I had tried to find the perfect location that was a fun experience in itself and not just a stiff/standard hotel room. The Adler had it all! Location, fun and very well cared for classic Hollywood furnishings in the room and out, an incredible staff, and just overall great vibe that made us feel at ease in a big city! The restaurant attached had friendly staff and delicious food without breaking the bank. It appeared to be quite well known locally as it was always quite full, but the efficient staff and kitchen still accommodated everyone and you could tell both regulars and tourists left very happy! The only bummer was the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the beautiful pool on the property. Guess we will just have to plan another trip to The Adler.

The hotel is well located. The Hollywood/Vine station is close, like 5 or 6 blocks. The hotel restaurant is good but If you want other options you can go to the Hollywood Ave. If is breakfast there is a Dunkin’ Donuts in the avenue. There is also a store very close to the hotel in case you need something else. Rooms are big and nice with AC. Cleaning service is not included so you may have to collect your bags and drop them in a bin at the end of your hall. Even that all looks comfortable and clean. Is good value. I didn’t go to the pool so I can’t say anything about that. I went with my wife and my baby. The only thing you have to be safe is when you cross under the bridge to go to the Hollywood Ave.

This hotel was great for a base when you need a place to lay your head and cool off with a swim in the pool after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully decorated, although the bathroom was a little dated. We loved the quirky spin on Hollywood / movie inspired decor and for a middle of the range hotel it ticked all the boxes. I loved that it was walking distance to a small grocery store, it had a good size bar fridge and a microwave for meals if you wanted to save money or stay in. And the quaint old school diner downstairs was fabulous! The staff were great and the food was delicious!

The room we booked was awesome. So much space that helped us having a good time when going back to the hotel. The parking is really good (but very expensive) and the staff is really nice. There's also a restaurant in the hotel that is not too expensive and have good meals. Also, if you want to go to the Universal Studios, it's an awesome option, as it's so close to it (10 minutes by car). It's also reaaaally close to the walk of fame (5 minutes by car)
